Evolved from our popular TCR Series, TCX rods redefine the extreme distance category, as we continue to push the outer boundaries of fly rod performance. To harness the expanded energy produced by our advanced Generation 5 (G5) Technology, Sage rod designer Jerry Siem created a radical new series of tapers and a fly rod that’s lighter, stronger and more powerful than its predecessor.

We have found the 6 weight to be the ultimate Bow River streamer rod, paired up with a super-fast sink tip line and Bow River Bugger. The 7 and 8 weights are wicked bonefish rods, and the 10 weights are perfect for Permit and Baby Tarpon, and excel at casting 6" poppers for 4 feet long Taimen.
