Salt Water Fly Tying Schools
Country Pleasures is pleased to offer a fly tying school focusing solely on saltwater patterns and the techniques and materials to tie them. Each School comprises eight lessons, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on six consecutive Tuesday nights, for a total instruction of sixteen hours. All lessons will take place in the shop, with a maximum enrolment in each school of six students, so there is lots of chance for individual attention. This course is designed for intermediate to expert tiers.
During the School students will learn to flies for Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Trevally, Barracuda, as well as Shark. All flies are chosen for their effectiveness during past trips as well as the techniques required for their tying. Students will receive instruction on several different techniques including tying with epoxies, synthetics, flashes, etc.

Tuition Cost
Tuition for the School is $150 (plus GST), payable at the time of registration.
Upcoming fall and winter dates to be announced.
Special Note: Each student will be responsible for supplying their own tools and materials during the course. All tools and materials are available at Country Pleasures. Enrolment is taken on a first-come first-served basis and a complete list of necessary tools and materials will be delivered to registrants at the time of registration.
