Bow River Report - October 1st, 2007
Fishing Conditions
The river has been fishing quite good in the past while. Hopper eats have been getting a little infrequent but generally still get a few every day. Lots of fish being caught on the bead heads under the hoppers. Streamer fishing has been fairly good, especially on cloudier days. Sink tip streamers have been the better bet on bright days.
Water Boatmen are starting to show up in big numbers now. A Boatman pattern by itself, or behind a streamer is a good bet.
Streamer fishing remains good. Light colored flies and floating lines on cloudy days, dark flies and sink tips on the bright days.

Pseudocloen, Baetis.

Streamers: Clousers, Medusa, C/H Rubberleg Bow River Bugger.
