Bow River Report - May 24 th, 2007
Fishing Conditions
The Bow has certainly gained volume thanks to the rain (and snow) in the last week. The fishing remains fairly good with streamers and nymphs, particularly above the confluence with the Highwood. You will still see some BWO's, March Browns, and Caddis out there, but don't expect any consistent dry fly action until the clarity gets better.
Fish Creek is coming in big and dirty, so the visibility will certainly be better upstream. Hopefully, the clarity will continue to improve as the weekend gets closer.
Hatches
Midges, Baetis (BWO), March Browns, Caddis.

Crowsnest River Report - May 24 th, 2007
Fishing Conditions
The Crow has cleaned up somewhat in the last week, and the nymph fishing has been quite good.
This is the time of year for the Salmonflies to start moving, so it is definitely worth your while to start with a big, dark stonefly nymph with a smaller beadhead as a dropper. No consistent dry fly reports due to the high, off-colour water, but it is still worth a trip down.
Hatches
Midges, Baetis (BWO), March Browns, Caddis, Salmonflies.
