Bow River Report - June 6th, 2007
Fishing Conditions
The river changed drastically on Monday afternoon. Levels increased by about 50% in a matter of hours with considerable deterioration in visibility. The expected rainfall today will obviously deteriorate the river even further. River levels will stay high for a significant period of time as there is lots of water coming from Banff but with drier weather we should see some clearing and fishable conditions soon. Leading up to the main part of runoff streamers and caddis later in the day were producing well and this should continue as levels/clarity improve.
If you are getting really itchy to fish, the Pike lakes are right at their peak right now.

Streamers: Slump Buster, Chamois Leech, C/H Kiwi Muddler, Conehead Rubberleg Bow River Bugger (Black), Geek Leech, Silveys Sculpin Leech, Medusa-Black/Purple, Fox's Sleech.
Nymphs: Conestone, Neo Twenty Incher, Red Hot Worm, Gob-O-Worms,
G/B Bee-Otch Creek, Morrish Dirty Bird.
Dry Flies: Parachute Adams, CDC Elk Hair Caddis, Bloom's Parachute Caddis, Wilson's AC Caddis.

Crowsnest River Report - May 31st, 2007
Fishing Conditions
Salmonflies started their emergence earlier this week and as of today there are a few bugs as high as Burmis Lake. Visibility is around 18" with expectations for it improve over this weekend.
Nymphing will likely be excellent over the weekend and if visibility does improve the dry fly fishing could be great.
