Bow River Report - April 24, 2007
Fishing Conditions
The Bow has been fishing quite good for the most part. There have already been a lot of very big fish caught in the last couple of weeks. Fish Creek, Sheep, and Highwood Rivers are running fairly dirty but are not diminishing the fishing to speak of. Heavier, darker streamers and nymphs are your best bet. There have been a few rising fish here and there, primarily in the city.
Hatches
Midges, Baetis (BWO).
Fly Selection
Streamers: Slump Buster, Chamois Leech, C/H Kiwi Muddler, Conehead Rubberleg Bow River Bugger (Black), Geek Leech, Silveys Sculpin Leech, Medusa.
Nymphs: Conestone, Neo Twenty Incher, Red Hot Worm, Gob-O-Worms, Lightning Bug (Gold), G/B Bee-Otch Creek.
Dry Flies: Quigleys Hackle Stacker - BWO, Thorax-BWO, CDC Transitional Midge, Griffith's Gnat.

Crowsnest River Report – March 12, 2007
Fishing Conditions
The Crow fished fairly well last week. Reports from down there indicate that there is still a lot of ice below the falls but that should come out quickly with warmer temperatures. Low level melt could cause dirty water conditions so we recommend checking before your trip down. Nymphing is pretty much the order of the day but hopefully we will see some fish working midges in the upcoming weeks.
